Step 3

Release the Mode button.

Note If all of the LEDs begin to blink after you press the Mode button, release

it. Blinking LEDs mean that the switch has already been configured and

cannot go into Express Setup mode. For more information, see the

“Clearing the Switch IP Address and Configuration” section on page 4-2.

Step 4 Connect a straight-through Ethernet cable (not included) to an Ethernet port on

the front panel of the switch, as shown in Figure 1-5.

Caution Do not connect the switch to any device other than the PC or workstation being

used to configure it.
