To clear syslog messages saved in a disk file, use the clear logging EXEC command.

Usage Guidelines The clear logging command removes all current entries from the syslog.txt file but does not make an
archive of the file. It puts a “Syslog cleared” message in the syslog.txt file to indicate that the syslog has
been cleared.
Examples The following example shows how to clear all entries in the syslog.txt file on the WAAS device:
WAE# clear logging
Feb 14 12:17:18 WAE# exec_clear_logging:Syslog cleared
