Table 3-37 Field Descriptions for the show disks details Command
Field Description
Physical disk information or
RAID Physical disk information
Lists the disks by number. On RAID-5 systems, this field is called
RAID Physical disk information.
disk00 Availability of the disk: Present, Not present or Not responding,
Not used (*), or Online (for RAID-5 disks).
Disk identification number and type, for example: (h00 c00i00
100 - DAS).
Disk size in megabytes and gigabytes, for example: 140011MB
(136.7GB).
disk01 Same type of information is shown for each disk.
RAID Logical drive information RAID-5 logical drive status and error conditions. (Only shown for
RAID-5 systems.)
Mounted filesystems Table containing the following column heads:
Mount point Mount point for the file system. For example, the mount point for
SYSFS is /local/local1.
Type Type of the file system. Values include root, internal, CONTENT,
SYSFS, and PRINTSPOOL.
Device Path to the partition on the disk.
Size Total size of the file system in megabytes.
Inuse Amount of disk space being used by the file system.
Free Amount of unused disk space for the file system.
Use% Percentage of the total available disk space being used by the file
system.
Software RAID devices If present, lists the software RAID devices and provides the
following information for each:
Device name Path to the partition on the disk. The partition name “md1”
indicates that the partition is a raided partition and that the RAID
type is RAID-1.
Type Type of RAID, for example RAID-1.
Status Operational status of the RAID device. Status may contain
NORMAL OPERATION or REBUILDING.
Physical devices and status Disk number and operational status of the disk, such as [GOOD]
or [BAD].
Disk encryption status Indicates whether the disk encryption feature is enabled or
disabled.
Disk object cache extend status Indicates whether the extended object cache feature is enabled or
disabled.
