exit
To terminate privileged-level EXEC mode and return to the user-level EXEC mode, use the exit
command.
exit
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults No default behavior or values.

Usage Guidelines The exit EXEC command is equivalent to pressing Ctrl-Z or entering the end command. Entering the
exit command in the user level EXEC shell terminates the console or Telnet session.
Examples The following example shows how to terminate privileged-level EXEC mode and return to the user-level
EXEC mode:
