IP Switching Commands
show adjacency
ISW-110
Cisco IOS IP Switching Command Reference
May 2008
MAC address of the adjacent router
Time left before the adjacency rolls out of the adjacency table. After the adjacency rolls out, a packet
must use the same next hop to the destination.
Examples The following examples show how to display adjacency information:
Cisco 7500 Series Router
Router# show adjacency
Protocol Interface Address
IP FastEthernet2/3 172.20.52.1(3045)
IP FastEthernet2/3 172.20.52.22(11)
The following example shows how to display adjacency information for a specific interface:
Router# show adjacency fastethernet 0/0
Protocol Interface Address
IP FastEthernet0/0 10.4.9.2(5)
IP FastEthernet0/0 10.4.9.3(5)
Cisco 10000 Series Router
