RAID Summary
The C220 M3 LFF server has a 4-drive backplane.
■ Intel RSTe, LSI ROM1, and LSI ROM15 embedded RAID upgrade options support up to 4 drives.
■ Mezzanine card (UCSC-RAID-11-C220) supports up to 4 drives.
■ Mezzanine card (UCSC-RAID-MZ-220) supports up to 4 drives.
■ SAS 9266-8i and SAS 9266CV-8i PCIe cards support up to 4 drives.
■ LSI MegaRAID SAS 9285CV-8e supports up to 8 external SAS ports (240 external drives).
See Table 33 for a summary of the supported RAID configuration options.
NOTE: If you do not select a mezzanine card, a plug-in PCIe RAID card, or one of the
embedded RAID upgrade options, you will have an embedded SATA-only RAID
controller that supports up to four SATA-only drives (RAID 0, 1, 10)
