CONFIGURING the SERVER
“Adapter 1,” “Adapter 2,” and “Adapter 3” refer to the UCSM naming convention for the
adapter slots (this document uses the UCSM naming convention). In the server BIOS and on the
motherboard, the corresponding slots are labeled as “mLOM,” “Mezz 1,” and “Mezz 2,”
respectively. See
Table 8.

(1) 4-CPU System Configuration
■ Select an adapter combination in accordance with Table 9.

Notes
1. Do not mix Fusion io storage accelerator families. That is, do not mix “MP” or “MS” (ioMemory3) with “M”
