CONFIGURING the SERVER
Approved Configurations
(1) LSI MegaRAID 9265CV-8i (with data cache and SuperCap)
■ For the 24-drive backplane with expander option, select up to 24 drives listed in Table 6 on
page 17.
(2) LSI MegaRAID 9240-8i or LSI MegaRAID 9220-8i
■ For the 24-drive backplane with expander option, select up to 16 drives listed in Table 6 on
page 17
Caveats
■ You can mix SATA and SAS drives.
■ No factory-configured RAID option can be chosen (a factory RAID volume is not available) if:
— there are no drives, or
— SAS and SATA drives are mixed, or
— different capacity drives are mixed
■ If you select one or more HDDs, you must select a PCIe RAID controller.
