Chapter 1 Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch Overview
Rail Kit for Rack Mounting
The Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch is shipped with two pairs of premounted guide rails that are used to
adjust the brackets on the data connection end during installation (see Figure 1-11). For instructions
about mounting the Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch using this rail kit, see Chapter 3, “Installing the
Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch.”

Alternatively, you can use the Shelf Kit (ordered and shipped separately, product number
SFS-7008P-RKIT= for rack mounting the Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch. For more details about the
