To configure linger-time to subscribers, use the subscriber ip-linger-time command in linecard
interface configuration mode.
subscriber ip-linger-time linger-time
Syntax Description
Command Default This command has no default settings.

Usage Guidelines By default, subscriber lingering option is disabled. Configuring 0 seconds disables this option if already
enabled. The maximum allowed linger-time is 86400 seconds (1 day).

Examples The following example shows how to configure linger time:

SCE(config if)#>no subscriber ip-linger-time 10

ip-linger-time Configure the linger timer duration of subscribers.
linger-time Linger time in seconds.
