Configures the RDR formatter protocol.

Command Default The default is rdrv1.

Usage Guidelines The RDR formatter protocol can be configured only when the RDR-formatter service is disabled (Use
the no service rdr-formatter command).
This command configures the protocol to be used globally by the RDR formatter. A protocol can also be
assigned specifically to each RDR formatter destination (see the rdr-formatter destination command).
Authorization: admin
Examples The following example illustrates how to reset the RDR formatter.
SCE> enable 15
Password: <cisco>
SCE#> configure
SCE(config)# no service rdr-formatter
SCE(config)# rdr-formatter protocol rdrv1
SCE(config)# service rdr-formatter
SCE(config)#>
