Cisco MGM Server Error Messages
Error Message EID-5024: Exception: string occurred while trying to purge NE.
Recommended Action
If you are having operational problems, contact Cisco technical support with
this error message. Otherwise, ignore this error message; no action is required.
Error Message EID-5025: The MGM Service is currently connected to Service Manager.
Recommended Action
Wait until the AUD-5004 message is displayed; then, click the Activate button
again.
Error Message EID-5026: The MGM Service is not connected to Service Manager.
Recommended Action Wait until the AUD-5003 message is displayed; then, click the Deactivate
button again.
Error Message EID-5030: Exception: string occurred while performing DB operations.
Recommended Action
Check the database (DB) configurations. Verify that you can connect to the
database and perform a structured query language (SQL) query.
Error Message EID-6052: Exception: source and destination termination points are not
valid. Cannot create Managed-Unmanaged link.
Recommended Action Review the reason for failure stated in the error message.
Error Message EID-6053: Link cannot be created due to presence of conflicting links.
Recommended Action
Review the reason for failure stated in the error message.
Error Message EID-6054: Link not valid between the specified end points in the
specified layer.
Recommended Action
Review the reason for failure stated in the error message.
Error Message EID-7000: Source PTP is supporting wavelength string while sink PTP is
supporting
NE_ID : The wavelength don’t match.
Recommended Action
Select PTPs that support the same wavelength.
Error Message EID-7001: DWDM links can only be created between
transponders/muxponders and DWDM cards.
Recommended Action
Select PTPs such that an end of the link is on a transponder or muxponder and
the other end is on a DWDM card.
