Where Can I See the Performance Data?
10.4 Where Can I See the Performance Data?
Cisco MGM gives you the power to collect large amounts of performance data, so it is important that
you be able to display only the required data. Data can be displayed in normal mode, where all
performance data is collected and displayed in the PM data tables.
To optimize the usefulness of the performance data, you can filter it to view just the data for a set of NEs
or a particular NE model, or to view data by performance category; for example, SONET.
PM data collection is every 15 minutes. You can also specify the PM data collection viewing interval.
For example, you may choose to view the PM data that was collected every 15 minutes for the past four
hours.
PM Services is activated by default. Refer to 10.3.3 Activating or Deactivating Performance Monitoring
to activate PM Services in Cisco MGM. Before viewing PM data, make sure that PM data collection is
enabled in Cisco MGM. See 10.3.1 Enabling or Disabling Performance Monitoring.

Preferences dialog box.
Note Cisco MGM automatically updates the time display for daylight saving time.
• Report Data—Displays the parameters for the report data.
You can use the Statistics Report to view reports of statistics data that are collected from the switch.
Note RPM cards are not supported for the Statistics Report.
Table 10-4 lists the report types that are supported for each network element from the Hierarchy pane.
