Successfully logging in means that your local username will work on any TTY or VTY line. Do not
disconnect your session until you can log in.
2.3 Setting Up a Login Banner
Create a login banner. A banner shows you which unit you are connected to (or are connecting through,
in the case of a console server).
Step 1
Create the banner:
5300-NAS(config)#banner login |
Enter TEXT message. End with the character '|'.
This is a secured device.

Test the banner:
