The procedure for setting up local LAN connections is described in Chapter 2, “Configuring General

Setting Up Dial-Up Connections
A dial-up connection extends switch management to all workstations that have access to the Public
Switched Telephone Network. Figure C-5 shows the hardware required for a dial-up connection to a
PXM-UI-S3 back card.
