Alarm Surveillance
The MGX 8260 Media Gateway notifies maintenance or operations personnel of equipment alarms
using the following features and components:
• CLI commands
• Email alerts
• SNMP trap messages
• Front panel indicators
• Relay contact closures
This chapter explains how to monitor alarms from the command line interface, and set up email and trap
notifications.
