To display the MAC address notification settings for all interfaces or the specified interface, use the
show mac address-table notification command in user EXEC mode.
show mac address-table notification {change [interface [interface-id] | mac-move | threshold}
[ | {begin | exclude | include} expression]

Usage Guidelines Use the show mac address-table notification change command without keywords to see if the MAC
address change notification feature is enabled or disabled, the MAC notification interval, the maximum
number of entries allowed in the history table, and the history table contents.
Use the interface keyword to display the notifications for all interfaces. If the interface-id is included,
only the flags for that interface appear.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
Examples This is an example of output from the show mac address-table notification change command:
Switch> show mac address-table notification change
MAC Notification Feature is Enabled on the switch
Interval between Notification Traps : 60 secs
Number of MAC Addresses Added : 4
Number of MAC Addresses Removed : 4
Number of Notifications sent to NMS : 3
Maximum Number of entries configured in History Table : 100
change Displays the MAC change notification feature parameters and the history
table.
interface (Optional) Displays information for all interfaces. Valid interfaces include
physical ports and port channels.
interface-id (Optional) Displays information for the specified interface. Valid interfaces
include physical ports and port channels.
mac-move Displays status for MAC address move notifications.
threshold Displays status for MAC-address table threshold monitoring.
| begin (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression.
| exclude (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression.
| include (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression.
expression Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
