Accessing User Documentation

The following sections provide information on accessing user documentation online or through the

included Documentation CD-ROM.

Accessing Online User Documentation

To access online user documentation, you need a desktop or notebook computer with an installed

graphical Internet browser and an active connection to the Internet. If you do not have an active Internet

connection available, use the Documentation CD-ROM that shipped with the product to access the user

documentation (see the “Accessing User Documentation on the Documentation CD-ROM” section on

page xxii).

Step 1 Open your Internet browser.

Step 2 Log in to Cisco.com at http://www.cisco.com.

Note If you do not have a user account, click the Register option in the navigational bar at the top of

the page and proceed through the registration process.

Step 3 Select the Technical Documentation option under the Service & Support heading.

Step 4 Select the Cisco Product Documentation option to open the Cisco Product Documentation index.

Step 5 Use the document paths provided in the “Related Documentation” section on page xvii to find the

specific document you need.
