Trunk Interface Cards
This section describes the IGX trunks. The card groups are:
• Universal switching module enhanced (UXM-E)
• Network trunk module (NTM)
Note With Release 9.2 and later software, an Cisco IGX 8420 or 8430 switch can support a
maximum of 32 trunks.
Table 4-1 lists the trunk front cards, and Table 4-2 lists the corresponding trunk interface back cards.
