Assigning the Switch IP Address and Default
Gateway
This chapter describes how to create the initial switch configuration for the Cisco Industrial Ethernet
2000U Series (IE 2000U) and Connected Grid Switches, hereafter referred to as switch. Initial
configuration involves assigning the switch IP address and default gateway information by using a
variety of automatic and manual methods. This chapter also describes how to modify the switch startup
configuration.
