Supported Hardware
Switch Fabric Modules
Note • Supported only with Supervisor Engine 2.
• Supported only in Cisco 7600 series chassis and 6500-series chassis. Not supported in 6000-series
chassis.
• Not supported in 3-slot chassis.
• Except in 13-slot chassis, WS-X6500-SFM2 and WS-C6500-SFM can be used together to provide
redundancy.
10-Gigabit Ethernet Switching Modules
Note Release 12.1(8a)EX provides support only with Supervisor Engine 2. Later releases provide support
with both Supervisor Engine 2 and Supervisor Engine 1 with MSFC2.
