Run the show etherchannel summary command and check for the desired output (it should be
similar on both Cisco Systems IGESMs:
Flags: D - down P - in port-channel
I - stand-alone s - suspended
H - Hot-standby (LACP only)
R - Layer3 S - Layer2
u - unsuitable for bundling
U - in use f - failed to allocate aggregator
d - default port

Run the show etherchannel 1 port-channel command and check for the desired output (it
should be
similar on both Cisco Systems IGESMs). Repeat for port-channel 2.

Check the output of the show cdp neighbors command. It should show something similar to
the following (different Device IDs for CIGESM2). Note that the Cisco Systems IGESMs can
see each other through the Management Module interface.
