copy startup-config
To copy configuration or image data from the startup configuration, use the copy startup-config EXEC
command.
copy startup-config {disk filename | running-config | tftp {hostname | ip-address}
remotefilename}

Usage Guidelines Use the copy startup-config EXEC command to copy the startup configuration file to a TFTP server or
to a SYSFS
partition.

startup-config Copies the startup configuration.
disk Copies the startup configuration to a disk file.
filename Name of the startup configuration file to be copied to the local disk.
running-config Copies the startup configuration to running configuration.
tftp Copies the startup configuration to a file on a TFTP server.
hostname Hostname of the TFTP server.
ip-address IP address of the TFTP server.
remotefilename Remote filename of the startup configuration file to be created on the TFTP
server. Use the complete pathname.
