(config) device mode
You can configure an inline WAE as a Central Manager, but the functionality of the inline feature will
not be available.
Examples To specify central manager as the device mode of a WAAS device, enter the following command from
global configuration mode:
WAE(config)# device mode central-manager
To specify application accelerator as the device mode of a WAAS device, enter the following command
from global configuration mode:
WAE(config)# device mode application-accelerator
