CaseViewNet Installation
Once the CaseViewNet setup.exe is downloaded to your computer you can install it to the computer
hard drive, a flash drive (i.e. thumb or jump) or another external device. See Download CaseViewNet on
page 41 for CaseViewNet download and installation instruction.
Install onto any removable drives before installing onto your hard drive. You can repeat the installation
process as necessary for multiple drives. If you are installing CaseViewNet to a flash or thumb drive,
insert the device into an available USB port before beginning the installation.
Windows 7 & Vista
When installing CaseViewNet, the User Account Control message box displays. The User Account
Control (UAC) is a security feature prompting you for permission to run the displayed program name or
service being accessed. To install and use the CaseViewNet software, you must choose Continue in the
UAC message box. The User Account Control is an important feature of Windows Vista and Stenograph
does not recommend disabling it.
Install CaseViewNet Software
1. On your Desktop, double click the CaseViewNet setup.exe icon. The CaseViewNet Setup
Wizard displays.
