Appendix A, CaseViewNet Installation provides detailed steps on downloading and installing the
CaseViewNet program and the security measures employed for the CaseViewNet data flow.
CaseViewNet is downloaded from the Stenograph website and installed to a hard drive, flash drive,
such as a thumb or jump drive, or another external device. You must have an active Internet
connection to download the file.
You can download and install CaseViewNet on either or both the computer hard drive and a flash
drive. Downloading CaseViewNet to a flash drive allows you to install CaseViewNet to a client
computer from the flash drive in lieu of downloading from the Stenograph website. Installing
CaseViewNet on a flash drive, provides access to run CaseViewNet directly from the flash drive in
situations where installing to the client’s computer hard drive is not possible.
Download CaseViewNet
You must have an active Internet connection to download the CaseViewNet program. After
downloading the program, you can choose where to install it.
To download CaseViewNet:
1. Connect to the Stenograph website at www.stenograph.com.
2. Select Software/CaseViewNet.
3. On the CaseViewNet page under Legal Professionals, click the link, CaseViewNet client: More
info and download.
4. On the CaseViewNet: For legal professionals page, click Download now! A Security Warning
dialog box displays.
