Caveats
Resolved Caveats
• CSCui26277
Symptom: When a leap second adjustment occurs on the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server,
multiple symmetrix ports that run Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF) connected to the
Storage Services Module (SSM) modules experience traffic disruption with the following error:
FCP_CNTR_LAF_C3_TIMEOUT_FRAMES_D
FCP_CNTR_MAC_C3_TIMEOUT_FRAMES_D
Condition: This issue occurs during a normal operation.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
More Information: The show logging onboard command does not display information about this
error.
• CSCuj74361
Symptom: The Forwarding Information Base (FIB) process crashes with the following system log
message:
%SYSMGR-SLOT4-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "fib" (PID 1846) hasn't caught signal 11
(core will be saved).
Condition: This issue only occurs on Cisco MDS DS-X9248-256K9 and DS-X9232-256K9
modules.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
• CSCuj58172
Symptom: With inter-VSAN routing (IVR) Network Address Translation (NAT) configurations,
bringing a port, including the Inter-Switch Link (ISL) ports Up might fail and the port is stuck in
errDisabled state. If the affected port is a member of a port channel, the following error message
appears when the show port-channel internal event-history errors command is used:
3) Event:E_DEBUG, length:174, at 820502 usecs after Tue Sep 24 16:56:18 2013
[102] pcm_pcp_ac_process_error(2033): fc1/35 PM did not respond to ACL
programming, PCP bringup timed out epp: timeout waiting for response (err_id
0x4092000E) for command 1
The IVR Fibre Channel ID (FCID) rewrite list displays entries in ADD_PROGRESS state when the
show ivr internal fcid-rewrite-list command is used:
