HP DL380-G5 Server with Dual Xeon 5140 2.33-GHz Processors

This server configuration is identical to the HP DL380-G5 server with dual Xeon 5140 2.33-GHz

processors and 146-GB hard drives, except that this configuration uses 72-GB hard drives and

supports different versions of IPT OS and Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Note that

Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.0 is not supported on this model. It is the configuration

equivalent of the Cisco MCS 7845-H2.

Although HP has discontinued the sale of its DL380-G5 with Intel 5140 through its normal

channels, the company has created a special part number to be ordered directly from HP US to

obtain a supported system. The special part number that you should order for a dual-processor

system is PN 470064-771.

Compaq DL320 Server with Pentium III 800-MHz Processor

The DL320 is a high-performance server platform designed for today’s unified communications

applications. When clustered properly, 2000 users can be supported. The required processor is an

Intel Pentium III 800-MHz processor. No specific memory configuration is required as long as 512

MB of memory is provided. Table 9 lists the Compaq DL320 server configurations.
