HP General Ordering Instructions

Although HP has discontinued the sale of this configuration through its normal channels, the

company has created a special part number for Cisco customers and partners to order directly

from HP United States or an HP partner to obtain a supported system. The special part number

that you should order for this configuration is PN 470064-887. This special HP part number is

posted on the HP Corporate Product List and is orderable directly from HP or through HP partners,

but does not appear in many of the traditional HP sources of information, such as Quickspecs, the

Product Bulletin, etc. Please advise your HP account manager, HP inside sales representative, or

HP partner accordingly and that person should be able to locate and quote this part number.

HP International Ordering Additional Instructions

This configuration is manufactured only in the United States but can be shipped globally. To order,

you should follow your standard local ordering process and contact your regional HP Sales

Operations team for assistance in routing the order. Refer to HP’s list of order management

contacts in Table 1.

HP’s global Fusion ERP system is linked and regions can place orders for fulfillment from HP plant

5200 (Houston, Tx). Shipments are routed to regional distribution hubs prior to delivery to the

respective customer in the destination (ordering) country.

The DL380-G5 is a robust server solution designed only for Cisco Unified Contact Center and

messaging products. The required processors are dual Intel Xeon quadcore E5345 2.33-GHz

processors. No specific memory configuration is required as long as 4 GB of memory is provided

(note that some product versions may require more memory). It is the configuration equivalent of

the Cisco MCS 7845-H2-ECS3/CCE3 or MCS 7845-H2-ECS4/CCE4.
