Telnet-SSH Configuration
Telnet-SSH Configuration
Use MANAGEMENT > Telnet-SSH to navigate to this page.
Use this page to modify Telnet accessibility to the controller.
• Telnet Login Timeout (minutes): This object indicates the number of minutes a telnet session is
allowed to remain inactive before being logged off. A zero means there is no timeout. May be
specified as a number from 0 to 160. The factory default is 5.
• Maximum Number of Telnet Sessions: Selectable from a pull-down menus for values of from 0 to
5. This object indicates the number of simultaneous Telnet sessions allowed. The factory default is 5.
• Allow New Telnet Sessions: Indicates that new Telnet sessions are not allowed on the DS Port when
set to no. The factory default value is no.
Note New Telnet sessions are allowed or disallowed on both the DS (network) port and the Service port using
the Allow New Telnet Sessions parameter.
• Allow New SSH Sessions: Indicates that new Secure Shell Telnet sessions are not allowed when set
to no. The factory default value is yes.
Command Buttons
• Apply: Data is sent to the controller and made to take effect, but not preserved across a power cycle;
these parameters are stored temporarily in volatile RAM.
• Help: Request that the help page be displayed in a new browser window.
