Chapter 6 Security Menu Bar Selection
Local Net Users
Local Net Users
Use SECURITY > AAA > Local Net Users to navigate to this page.
This page displays a summary of the existing local network clients who are allowed to access a specific
Cisco WLAN Solution WLAN sorted by User Name. This is an administrative bypass of the RADIUS
authentication process. Layer 3 Web Authentication located on the WLANs > Edit page must be enabled.
Client information is passed to the RADIUS authentication server first, and if the client information does
not match a RADIUS database entry, this local database is polled. Clients located in this database are
granted access to network services if the RADIUS authentication fails or does not exist.
• Use the Remove link to remove an existing local network client.
Command Buttons
• New: Select to add a new local network client (Local Net Users > New).
• Help: Request that the help page be displayed in a new browser window.
