RTP Filters

Configuration Settings Used By Services

If you change the settings on the RTP Filters window, Table 23 shows when your

changes take effect.

RTP Filter Guidelines

Use the following guidelines when adding or editing RTP filters.

• Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) ports appear in the list of RTP filters by default. If

you are using CAD, you must also enter the IP address of the CAD Recording

server.

• The number of rows that can appear in the list of RTP filters is limited to 1000.

• Do not enter the same filter twice. An error appears if you enter the same filter

twice.

Managing RTP Filters

TASK

• To add an RTP filter, click Add on the RTP Filters window, choose IP Port

or IP Address from the RTP Filter Type drop-down list, enter the port

number or IP address in the TRP Filter IP/Port field, and then click OK.

TEP RESULT: The new RTP filter appears in the list of RTP filters.

• To edit an RTP filter, select an RTP filter from the list, click Edit on the

RTP Filters window, choose IP Port or IP Address from the RTP Filter

Type drop-down list, enter the port number or IP address in the TRP

Filter IP/Port field, and then click OK.

IP/Port

The value for the RTP filter. If the RTP Filter Type is IP Port, a port number

appears in this field. If the RTP Filter Type is IP Address, an IP address

appears in this field.

NOTE: Hostnames, wildcards, and ranges are not allowed in this field.
