To create a service process
1. In the Tree pane, browse to System > Shared Resources > Services.
2. Browse to the service for which you want to create a new process.
3. In the List pane toolbar, click the New button.
4. In the Properties pane, go to the General tab and provide the following details.
Name: Type a name for the process. This is required information.
Description: Provide a brief description.
Start type: From the dropdown list, select a start type for the service process. The following three
options are available.
z Manual
z Automatic
z On demand
Maximum number of instances: Type the maximum number of instances this service process can
have.
Failover enabled: This feature is not available in this release. From the dropdown list select No.

5. Next, go to the Hosts tab and select the host from the available hosts list. Ignore the other options as they are
not available in this release.
6. Click the Save button.
Deleting service processes
Delete the service processes that are no more required in the system. Before you delete the service process make
sure it is not running.
To delete a service process
1. In the Tree pane, browse to System > Shared Resources > Services.
2. Browse to the service for which you want to delete a process. In the List pane select the service process.
Stop the service process if it is running.
3. In the List pane toolbar, click the Delete button.
