Disabling Rich Text Editor
By default the chat typing area of the Chat Customer Console has a rich text editor. You can enable the plain text
editor, if you do not want customers to use the rich text editor.
Out-of-the-box rich text editor toolbar
To disable the rich text editor:
1. Open the Cisco_Home
\eService\templates\chat\
Template_Folder
\eGainLiveConfig.js
file in a
text editor.
2. Locate the
useTextEditor
property and set the value to
1
to enable the plain text editor. The default value
is
0
, which means that the rich text editor is enabled.
3. Save the changes.
