for all activities and tasks. When you make yourself available again, the system restores the availability
configuration.
For example, assume that using your availability configuration, you have made yourself available for email type
activities.
When you make yourself unavailable, the system ignores the settings configured for individual activity
types and you are shown as unavailable for all types of activities.
When you make yourself available, your availability setting is restored, and you are made available for
email type of activities only; not any other type of activity.
If you have Email and Chat licenses then the following availability options are displayed:
❑ Available for chat
❑ Available for other channels
Make yourself available for activities
If you have only the Email license then the following availability option is displayed, allowing you to
indicate that you are available to work on email activities.
❑ Available
Make yourself available for email activities
To make yourself available in the Main Inbox:
Click the check box next to Available, Available for chat, or Available for other channels as required.
Important: When you log in to the Agent Console, you are logged in with the same availability
settings you were working with when you last logged out of the system.
