CONFIGURING the FABRIC INTERCONNECT
Supported Configurations
■ Select as many transceivers as you have licenses (see CHOOSE PORT LICENSES (OPTIONAL)
on page 15).
■ Fibre channel ports must be physically connected to allow them to be selected using UCS
Manager software GUI.
Caveats
■ The maximum length of fiber optic runs is limited to 300 meters. This is imposed by our use
of 802.3X/802.1Qbb Priority Pauses.
