Handling of Class 1 EPs:
◦
In case of Class 1 EPs, HNB-GW receives SABP messages from CBC, extracts Service Area
List from SABP message and sends this message to corresponding HNBs in provided service
areas.
◦
While sending the SABP messages to HNB, HNB-GW modifies service area list and includes
only that service area to which HNB belongs.
◦
HNB-GW receives successful/failure responses from HNBs within service areas and sends
collective response for these service areas to CBC.
HNB-GW supports maximum of 1000 service areas (SAs) per SABP message. If more
than 1000 SAs need to be sent, then HNB-GW sends multiple SABP messages in chunks
of 1000 SAs per SABP message.
