Appendix 10 – Enable Debug on MOC
If MOC is not behaving as it should, then logging can be enabled and SIP messaging and other
logging can be checked.
1. Select Tools > Options.
2. Select the General tab.
3. In the Logging section:
 Select Turn on logging in Communicator
 Select Turn on Windows Event logging for Communicator
Communicator log files may be found in: c:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Tracing where
<user> is the login name of the windows login.
The .uccplog file can be viewed with a text editor, or (more clearly) with the application provided in
the OCS resource kit ‘snooper.exe’.
Windows event logging can be observed using the Windows Event Viewer.
