Defining Read Java Log Activity

Step 4 On the Read Java Log tab, specify the following information:
Field Description
Log File Log file name (for example, server or database).
Log Count Number of logs to parse (log number is a suffix of a log file
name).
Match Pattern A grep pattern to match log entries within log files.
Exclude Patterns A list of filter patterns to exclude log entries.
Cluster ID Java Cluster ID.
Maximum time frame for specified log
entries
Displays log entries within a specified time window. Check
the check box and enter the appropriate time window. The
default window is the last 60 seconds.
Uncheck the check box to disable the Time Window field.
Maximum number of entries Read only log entries up to the specified number.
Time out if not completed within Check the check box to specify a time out interval
(seconds, minutes) with which the activity must complete.
The default is 60 seconds.
If the activity does not complete within the specified time
out interval, the activity will fail with Failed (Not
Completed) status.
