Managing SAP Targets
Step 7 If you are using Telnet to connect to the Java application server, click the Telnet tab to view or modify
the connection properties.

Step 8 Use the Telnet tab to modify the following connection information:
Step 9 Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
Field Description
Enable Telnet connection Check or uncheck the check box to enable or disable the
Telnet connection to the Java application server.
Telnet port Telnet port number used to connect to the Java application
server.
Use credentials of the following runtime
user
From the drop-down list, choose the default runtime user
that contains the credentials to connect to the Java
application server.
Note The runtime user must be a J2EE Admin account.
• To view or modify the properties for the selected
runtime user, click the Properties
tool.
• To create a new runtime user, click New > Runtime
User.
