Click Browse to open the SAP ABAP Connection dialog box and populate the fields with pre-defined
monitoring tree elements (see Selecting Monitoring Tree Elements, page 5-8) or enter the information
in the following fields:
Step 5 Complete the appropriate information in the following tabs:
• Target—Specify whether the defined process target should be used or overridden.
• Credentials—Specify the runtime user whose credentials should be used for process execution.
• Knowledge Base—Select the appropriate knowledge base article to associate with the process.
• Result Handlers—Click the appropriate buttons to manage the condition branches on the workflow.
Step 6 Click the Save tool to complete the activity definition.
Field Description
Context Application server for the SAP system that will be
monitored by this process. Enter a wildcard (*) to
monitor all servers.
Object name Object in SAP that will be monitored by this process
(for example, CPU in host system, database, or SAP
services, such as background processing). Enter a
wildcard (*) to monitor all objects.
Short name Short text that is assigned to the MTE class. Enter a
wildcard (*) to monitor all short names.
MTE class MTE class assigned to the group of monitoring tree
elements. Enter the (*) wildcard to monitor all MTE
classes.
