Viewing SAP ABAP Adapter Properties
Configuring Availability Monitoring
Use the Availability monitor tab to specify how often the server where the adapter is installed should be
contacted to monitor for availability, how many attempts should be made before sending a notification,
and the DNS suffix for the server.
Step 1 On the SAP ABAP Adapter Properties dialog box, click the Availability monitor tab.

Step 2 Specify the information in the following fields:
Field Description
Availability monitor delay Enter the time value or use the scroll arrows to indicate
how often the server should be contacted to monitor for
availability (seconds, minutes, hours).
Connect attempts Enter the number of times the server connection should
be tested before sending a connection failed
notification.
Availability DNS suffix Enter the DNS suffix to append to the server name, if
necessary.
