Chapter 5 Using the SAP ABAP Activities
Defining Create User Activity
Step 5 Complete the appropriate information in the following tabs:
Target—Specify whether the defined process target should be used or overridden.
Note This activity does not support Central User Administration (CUA) operations, so it will have
limited capabilities if performed against a CUA target.
Credentials—Specify the runtime user whose credentials should be used for process execution.
Knowledge Base—Select the appropriate knowledge base article to associate with the process.
Result Handlers—Click the appropriate buttons to manage the condition branches on the workflow.
Step 6 Click the Save tool to complete the activity definition.
User type In the drop-down list, choose the appropriate user type
to be associated with the user.
Dialog—Individual, interactive system access.
System—Background processing and
communication within a system (such as RFC users
for ALE, Workflow, TMS, and CUA).
Communication—Dialog-free communication for
external RFC calls.
Service—Dialog user available to a larger,
anonymous group of users.
Reference—General, non-person related users that
allows the assignment of additional identical
authorizations, such as for Internet users created
with transaction SU01. No logon is possible.
Language In the drop-down list, choose the appropriate language
for the user.
Decimal notation In the drop-down list, choose the decimal notation to be
used in the user profile.
Date format In the drop-down list, choose the format for the date.
Time zone Enter the time zone for the location of the user.
Profile names
Add To add the profile name to be assigned to the user, click
Add and enter the appropriate information.
Modify If you want to modify the profile name, select the name
and then click Modify.
Remove If you want to delete the profile name, select the name
and then click Remove.
