enable

Example:

Router> enable

Enables privileged EXEC mode.

configure terminal

Example:

Router# configure terminal

Enters global configuration mode.

interface type slot/port

Example:

Router(config)# interface

ethernet 0/0

Specifies the interface by type (for example, Ethernet) and slot and port

number, and enters interface configuration mode.
