traceroute6
To trace the route to a IPv6 network device, use the traceroute6 command. This command is added
in NAM 6.0(1).
traceroute [ n | v] [-m max_ttl] [-p port] [-s src_addr] [-w waittime] destination host name | IPv6 address
Syntax Description
-n
(Optional) Prints hop addresses numerically.
-v
(Optional) Sets the output to verbose.
-m max_ttl
(Optional) Sets the maximum time-to-live (max number of
hops) used.
-p port
(Optional) Sets the base UDP port number used in probes.
-s src_addr
(Optional) Forces the source address to be an address other
than the IP address of the interface the packet is sent on.
-w waittime
(Optional) Sets the time (in seconds) to wait for a response
to a probe.
