Network Security Statement
Although no telecommunications system or data network is entirely secure, as long as appro-
priate security measures are put in place and properly maintained by both the customer and the
installing company, this Inter-Tel
®
Advanced Communications Platform
architecture and its
associated server-based applications are substantially secure against unauthorized access to the
customer's data network via the telecommunications system. Appropriate security measures
include, but are not limited to, the proper implementation of user/administrative accounts,
passwords, firewalls, Network Address Translation (NAT), access control lists, virus protec-
tion, security updates, etc., and the proper maintenance of access points/programs and their
respective accounts/passwords.
