Verifying Your Configuration
You can check the validity of your voice port configuration by performing the
following tasks:
Pick up the handset of an attached telephony device and listen for a dial tone.
Check for dual tone multifrequency (DTMF) detection. If the dial tone stops
when you dial a digit, the voice port is configured properly.
Use the show voice-port command to verify that the configured data is
correct.

maximum number of rings before
answering a call.

Specify the private line auto ringdown
(PLAR) connection if this voice port is
used for a PLAR connection. The string
value specifies the destination telephone
number.

Specify the threshold (in dB) for on-hold
