Configuring the Voice Interfaces
This section explains how to configure Voice-over-IP (VoIP) routing on the
supported interface cards of your Catalyst 4224 Access Gateway Switch. (You
need to perform the software configuration only for the cards that you have
installed.) To configure a voice interface, you must use configuration mode. In
this mode, you enter Cisco IOS command-line interface (CLI) commands at the
Gateway prompt.

Configuring Voice Interfaces
Use a voice interface card (VIC) for a voice connection. For information about
installing these components in a Catalyst 4224, refer to the Cisco Catalyst 4224
