Step 2 Check the state field for the BITS port being used. If it is down, check the cable for damage.
Step 3 Check the BITS port LED. If it is not on, check the interface mode type. The mode type is either T1
or E1. T1 is the default mode. Use the network-clock-select command to change the BITS interface
mode type.
