LED Label Color State Meaning
FAIL Yellow Off On when the line card power on self test (POST) fails.
On A major failure has disabled the line card.
LOOP Yellow Off Port is not in a loopback state.
On On when the port is in a loopback state and is not enabled for data
traffic.
ALARM Yellow Off No alarm condition.
On On when an alarm condition exists at OC-12, E-1, DS3, or
DS1
level.
